BECAUSE EACH PROJECT IS SO UNIQUE, WE BEGIN BY ANALYSING WHAT WE THINK WOULD BE THE MOST BENEFICIAL SCOPE OF DESIGN SERVICES FOR YOUR PROJECT. THESE USUALLY INCLUDE FOUR KEY STAGES:

1. CONCEPT CREATION

We can form concepts from zero, expand on your initial ideas, or re-invigorate an already established brand.

Beginning with an audit of similar businesses in your core market, and local competitors of all types, we feel out the best approach, character and placement of what you do.

We then transform this essence into a wholistic customer experience, both emotively and spatially.

Weaving the customer journey through the physical space, indicating the material palette as well as spatial sequencing.

In conjunction with this we check the stats. Can we maximise covers? Minimise staffing by optimising the operational routes? We provide sets of concept layout plans, forming the basis of the construction design drawings.

2. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

We develop the main plan set. Furniture, lighting, floor finishes, small power, demolitions plans, working in the detail, engaging and co-ordinating with all consultants.

We draft all elevations designing in all the magic from concept stage, as a visual preview of how to balance all the elements and creating a map that will deliver for the construction phase.

We design the facade, creating the best visibility for your establishment.

If required, we can provide at this stage all permission based drawing sets for planning, building control, advertisement consent, pavement licences, alcohol premises licenses , COU or landlords consent.

3. DETAIL DESIGN CONSTRUCTION PACKS

We formulate how to make all the bespoke items, drawing these in detail for the contractor to cost or build. The bar or counter, built in seating, signage, screens, wall coverings, staircases, theatre kitchens, product displays, weaving in your signature aesthetic throughout.

4. CONSTRUCTION PHASE SUPPORT

Attending regular site meetings throughout the construction phase, checking that everything is in the right place (literally). Liaising with suppliers, consultants and contractors and client teams throughout the process.
